Some routers combine 2.4GHz and 5GHz into one network, which can cause pairing issues. Here’s how to fix it:
- Update the App
Make sure you have the latest version of the Scentiment app from the App Store or Google Play.

IOS: Version 2.2.(1) or higher
Android: Version 2.2.2(22) or higher - Make Sure Your Diffuser Is Plugged In
A stable power connection helps the diffuser stay responsive to app commands. - Put the Diffuser in Pairing Mode
Hold the back button for 5 seconds until the blue light starts blinking. - Connect to 2.4GHz WiFi
On your phone, connect to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. If your router combines both bands into one, try temporarily turning off the 5 GHz band in your router settings. - Scan in the App
Open the app and tap the + icon to scan for your diffuser. - Still Not Connecting?
Wait 5 minutes, then fully close and reopen the app. Try scanning again.
