Trouble Connecting to 2.4GHz WiFiUpdated a month ago

Some routers combine 2.4GHz and 5GHz into one network, which can cause pairing issues. Here’s how to fix it:

  1. Update the App
     Make sure you have the latest version of the Scentiment app from the App Store or Google Play.

    Google Play:  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.scentiment.app&pli=1
    IOS: Version 2.2.(1) or higher
    Android: Version 2.2.2(22) or higher

  2. Make Sure Your Diffuser Is Plugged In
     A stable power connection helps the diffuser stay responsive to app commands.

  3. Put the Diffuser in Pairing Mode
     Hold the back button for 5 seconds until the blue light starts blinking.

  4. Connect to 2.4GHz WiFi
     On your phone, connect to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. If your router combines both bands into one, try temporarily turning off the 5 GHz band in your router settings.

  5. Scan in the App
    Open the app and tap the + icon to scan for your diffuser.

  6. Still Not Connecting?
     Wait 5 minutes, then fully close and reopen the app. Try scanning again.
