App Controls Not Working (On/Off, Level, Mist)Updated 14 days ago

If your diffuser isn’t responding to app controls, it may be due to a brief Wi-Fi lag or connection drop. Here’s how to fix it:

🚫 Power Button Yellow & mist intensity Grayed Out

  • This means the diffuser is in firmware update mode.

  • You won't be able to use the power or mist intensity button during this time.

  • The update process can take from 5 minutes to up to 30 mins

Recommended: Use this time to create and set up a custom schedule in the app. Your diffuser will still operate based on the schedule while updating.

  1. Make Sure Your Diffuser Is Plugged In
     A steady power source ensures the diffuser stays connected and responsive.

  2. Try the Controls Again
    Tap the control once more — for example, press ON, then OFF again.

  3. Cycle Through Mist Levels
     Switching between mist intensity levels can help re-establish the connection.

  4. Restart the App
     Close the Scentiment app completely, then reopen it.

  5. Manual Reset
    If it’s still not responding, press and hold the rear button on the diffuser to manually reset it

Once reconnected, the app controls should start working normally again.
