📱 How to Set Up Your Diffuser in the Scentiment App

If you’re setting up your diffuser for the first time or need help getting connected, follow these easy steps to get started.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Create Your Account
    Download the Scentiment app and create an account, if you haven’t done so already.
   
   

2. Begin Device Setup
    Tap “Connect My Device” to go to the “My Devices” tab.
   
   

3. Power Up Your Diffuser
    Make sure your diffuser is plugged into a power source or is fully charged.
    The app will begin scanning for nearby devices.
   
   

4. Put your diffuser in pairing mode
   Press and hold the power button on the diffuser for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode. You’ll know it worked when the LED changes.
   
   

5. Find Your Diffuser
    Tap the plus (+) icon in the top-right corner and select “Find Devices.”
    When prompted for Bluetooth permissions, tap “Allow.”
   
   

6. Connect and Configure
    Once your diffuser is detected, tap Connect, then enter your Wi-Fi password.
    This ensures your device stays up to date with firmware improvements and new features.
   
   

7. Name Your Diffuser
    You’ll be prompted to enter a name for your diffuser. Feel free to personalize it!
   
   

8. Assign to a Home
    The diffuser will be automatically added to a default home, which you can update later. Tap Continue to finish setup.
   
   

9. Firmware Update (Optional)
   If a firmware update button appears after setup, go ahead and tap it to install the latest updates. Leave the app open and near the diffuser for 3-5 minutes. You should notice the firmware change on the homepage under your diffuser name. The new updated firmware is (1.3.94)
